a Garage
Muók Boxing started in April 2020 in a 168 square foot garage during the pandemic. A small group kept showing up, kept training — and a community was born. Today, that community trains in a 9,000+ square foot warehouse in the heart of Georgetown.
When training spaces closed during the pandemic, we adapted. 168 square feet, a few pads, and a small group that refused to stop showing up. What started as a necessity became something we're proud of — a gym built from the ground up by people who genuinely love the art of Muay Thai.
The community outgrew the garage. In West Seattle we became a real gym — real classes, real coaches, and a culture where people learn each other's names fast. The room got bigger; the standard stayed the same.
A purpose-built 9,000+ square foot warehouse designed to support every part of athletic development — skill training, strength work, physical therapy, and recovery, all under one roof. The next chapter, built for the community that wrote the first one.
Nothing watered down. We teach the real art — the strikes, the clinch, the footwork, the timing. Our coaches have trained extensively at renowned Thai camps and bring that depth to every class. We train the clinch daily; few gyms do.
Whether you've never thrown a punch or you're chasing your first fight, you belong here. Every evening class splits into a beginner group and an experienced group, each with its own coach — and the room pushes each other without the aggression you find elsewhere.
Skill training, strength work, and recovery — all under one roof, all working together — including Root Physical Therapy, our on-site clinic. It's a model we haven't seen anywhere else in Seattle, built because serious training deserves serious support.
Dedicated training areas, sauna and showers, a stacked strength & conditioning zone, and an on-site physical therapy clinic — Root Physical Therapy — under the same roof. A space built for athletes serious about their craft, and first-timers who deserve to train somewhere great.
